Good post Mike! I have to admit that part of the success of the 30 day challenge was being accountable not only to myself but to you, Ted and Greg through our daily posts. There were days when we all felt "ugh....I don't feel like running today" but knowing that we agreed to all post daily kept us honest!

Confidence was a result of the challenge. Knowing that I (and we) finished something that was tough, challenging and outside the CZ (comfort zone) was a major boost!

We'll have to do this more often!

That is the point my man! We should all do this on our Birthday...gives you a reason to think about all the good and at least put the negative on the shelf for a bit!

Well said. This is the way to live. Live life to the fullest. When I go I certainly want people to say "that guy did something in this life and will be missed."

Hey Mike!
Both the fellows you wrote about (Roger Hospedales and Gord Avann) are absolutely great guys and fantastic athletes. It was tough watching and listening to Roger from the sidelines as I know he wanted to be racing pretty badly, but he bounced back and has been having a strong season so far.
Thanks for the great articles (and photo's) Mike!
Cheers.
